Other Stanford Facilities
nano@stanford provides shared scientific instrumentation and cleanroom laboratory facilities that enable multidisciplinary research. We invite you to explore our website for details and our team is available to discuss how our resources can best support your research. Find nano@stanford experts here
For details about other Shared Facilities on campus, please explore the c-ShaRP website. Shared facilities on campus that directly complement nano@stanford instrumentation are listed below:
- The Electron Microprobe is housed with nano@stanford equipment, but the instrument is accessed through the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability Microchemical Analysis Facility
- The Cell Sciences Imaging Facility is located in Shriram, Chem-H, and the Beckman Center. This facility offers electron microscopy, light microscopy, and atomic force microscopy that complements nano@stanford and specializes in biological samples. For biological samples, it is recommended to consult nano@stanford staff so you can be directed to the most appropriate instrumentation.
- The Stanford Cryo-Electron Microscopy Center in Li Ka Shing specializes in cryogenic transmission electron microscopy and has complementary capabilities to nano@stanford. It is recommended to consult nano@stanford staff so you can be directed to the most appropriate instrumentation.
- The Microfluidics Foundry is located in the Clark Center. This facility is a ~1000 square foot class 10,000 clean room for soft lithography and fabrication and testing of microfluidic devices.
