Rapid Sense Inc.; Dr. Arthur Han, President
In collaboration with Suntec Medical, Inc., our company develops nanotechnology for micellar nanocomplexes comprising protein drugs for cancer therapy. Nanocomplexes target at cancer cells through particle size and selectivity. Because of the promising results, NCL (Nanotechnology Characterization Laboratory) of NIH decided to work with us to facilitate the application of the technology. In short, the technology could extend to many protein drugs or even small molecule drugs. Professor Tasuku Honjo (Kyoto University, Nobel Prize winner) is one of the collaborators to work on Interferon and PD-1 employing this technology. We use the DLS instrument in SMF to measure the sizes of micelle nanocomplexes and Stanford Nano Shared Facilities is very important to our research project.
